Glen G. Kizer is the President of the Foundation and producer of the Environmental Weekly, the E3 (Energy, the Environment, and our Economy), and the Teens at Risk video series. Mr. Kizer is in charge of the solar schools and energy efficiency projects. He is also on the Board of Trustees of the Interstate Renewable Energy Council. Mr. Kizer's current projects include 65 new solar schools in northern California in cooperation with Pacific Gas & Electric, which will demonstrate the viability of solar electricity and provide a teaching opportunity which marries environmental education with traditional math and science skills. NEED is administering the teacher training for the educational side of the project. He is also administering solar electricity and solar thermal projects in Arizona, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Peru, Haiti, and England. He can be reached at 614 336 0776. ALYSSA NEWMAN is the Director of Foundation programs and is located in our San Francisco office at the Presidio near the Golden Gate Bridge. Ms. Newman will be administering the California and Arizona solar electric schools as well as starting new initiatives such as solar thermal fire stations. Ms. Newman also plans on expanding the international efforts of the Foundation. Ms. Newman was most recently with Pacific Gas & Electric Company where she worked with the Self-Generation Incentive Program, which is the California statewide incentive program for certain types of distributed generation facilities (including: solar PV–30kW–5MW, wind turbines, and various natural gas or renewable fuel microturbines, fuel cells, and internal combustion engines). Dr. Chrisanne Gordon is a Vice President of the Foundation and the producer for “Risks to Teens,” a thirteen part series on social and health risks to teens. Dr. Gordon is coordinating the production with the Columbus Medical Association Foundation, the American Lung Association, Grant Hospital, the Columbus Metropolitan Libraries, the Ohio Educational Telecommunications Association, and the National Educational Telecommunications Association. The issues examined in this documentary series include such topics as smoking, driving, drinking, eating disorders, tanning, depression, and violence. This series will be shown throughout the country beginning in 2004. Rick Keller is the Foundation videographer and filmmaker. Mr. Keller filmed and edited the entire Environmental Weekly and E3 video series as well as short films done for special projects. Joan Joyce is the Foundation grant writer and administrative coordinator. Robert Judson is the Foundation Treasurer and accountant. Kurt Weiland is the Foundation Secretary and attorney. Ronald Engleman Jr., PE is a member of the Foundation advisory board. Mr. Engleman has extensive training and experience in both engineering and design. He coordinates the development of new energy education material for the Foundation. Robert Gentile is a member of the Foundation advisory board. Mr. Gentile has more than 35 years of experience in the energy sector. His broad based domestic and international experience includes managing private sector energy companies, regulating industry, and developing public policy. He promotes public outreach on a variety of energy related topics for the Foundation.
